Unkai Terrace is a very famous tourist spot in Hokkaido located in Tomamu, Hokkaido.

People refer to it as the "Cafe near Heaven" because of its very high location. The cafe is inside a famous resort called "Hoshi no Resort" which is translated in English as the "Star's Resort." In the Hoshi no Resort, one could also enjoy the Gondola ride for 12 mins. which would take them to the spot where you could enjoy the scenery consisting of the Hidaka and Tokachi mountains and also  the "sea of clouds" which makes this place really very special.

The Unkai Terrace is open from May 14 to October 17, 2016 .

Access:    Hoshino Resorts in Tomamu


Take the shuttle bus departing "RISONARE Tomamu" or "The Tower." It would take about 5 to 10 minutes before arriving at the "Resort Center."
